Shareholders’ Equity Swings to US$95.8 Million from a US$116.1 Million Deficit

DUBAI, UAE, Aug. 24, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Robo.ai Inc. (Nasdaq: AIIO) (“Robo.ai” or the “Company”), a UAE-based Nasdaq-listed company, today announced its unaudited financial results for the six months ended June 30, 2026.

The Company views the first half of 2026 as a structural reset and the beginning of its next phase of development. The disposal of its legacy ICONIQ business and the completion of two acquisitions divested the majority of its legacy liabilities, returned shareholders’ equity to positive territory, and established a foundation of technology and operating assets for future growth.

“The first half of 2026 put Robo.ai on a new footing, and we made meaningful progress across our key priorities,” said Benjamin Zhai, Chief Executive Officer of Robo.ai. “Alongside these transactions, we advanced the localization of our operations in the United Arab Emirates, reorganized our business structure around the acquired assets, and clarified our commercial model and development priorities. We are now focusing on integrating the acquired businesses and realizing their commercial potential. We believe that these efforts position Robo.ai to capture emerging opportunities as these industries continue to develop.”

    First Half 2026 Highlights

    • Net revenue was US$55.1 million, compared with US$0.6 million for the same period of 2025. • Gross profit was US$0.2 million, compared with a loss of US$0.4 million for the same period of 2025.

    August 24, 2026

Alibaba Group has announced an HK$80 billion share offering to finance its artificial intelligence expansion and enhance its AI infrastructure. The Chinese tech giant will issue 710 million new ordinary shares priced at HK$112.70 each. This transaction is valued at approximately US$10.2 billion based on current exchange rates. Alibaba projects that the deal will finalize by Aug. 26, contingent upon usual closing conditions. Alibaba’s HK$80 billion share placement directs fresh capital toward AI infrastructure. Its AI ecosystem encompasses cloud computing, models, chips, and various applications, with the Qwen model family and Alibaba Cloud services being key elements of the platform. The share placement primarily targets non-U.S. investors through offshore channels. The offering price of HK$112.70 is 8.4% lower than Alibaba’s HK$123 closing price on Friday. Early Monday trading saw Hong Kong-listed shares fall as much as 10% to HK$110.10. Alibaba also has a listing in New York under the BABA ticker, traded via American depositary shares. Expansion of AI infrastructure investment at Alibaba continues. This fundraising effort follows a notable increase in Alibaba’s capital spending on computing infrastructure, which hit RMB67.68 billion—roughly US$10 billion—in the quarter ending June 30.
